| AMS Potential Applications
Because AMS imagery does not produce false positives, there are many fewer features in the imagery and, therefore, fewer locations to inspect.
Potential applications include:
** Detection of Soil Salinity
** Reduction in pesticide application over traditional broadcast treatments
** Predicting corn and soybean yields from the air midway through the season for the purpose of commodities trading
** Teaching growers how to get the most yield for the least cost of inputs
